Sage: screenshot gesture doesn't work for book cover?
I tried repeatedly to take a screenshot of my current book cover, but nothing happened. After trying various gestures, I went back to the book turned to the very next page, and voilà! the RTL diagonal swipe gave me a screenshot. Running the current nightly

Which screenshot gesture were you trying to use (there's two of 'em, IIRC
![]() (Okay, reading your post properly helps): I assume you tried the diagonal swipe. That's disabled in ImageViewer because swipes are bound to panning there. You'll want to use the other gesture: a single short tap on two opposite corners of the screen (so, two fingers in sync required) (emphasis on *short* on fast devices, because you want those to register as a tap, so, fairly steady fingers ;p). |

I'd be interested in your experience with that, because I'm not entirely sure that'll work either (but it is an interesting conundrum) ;p.

I often use the Merge Epubs add on, in calibre, to make series anthologies out of the individual ebooks. I sometimes bother to select the cover image of the book in the series that I am reading, from inside the anthology, long press on the image then use the "tap diagonal corners" screenshot method. KOReader then offers to make it the screensaver image. This won't work for me as my current reader is an Android Onyx Boox Note 2, so I need to make the setting using the device software. (That is pretty easy though.)

Happily I discovered that my impaired and degrading motor skills ARE still up to the tap diagonal corners screenshot gesture. So for now, I'm covered. #tooeasy #sorrynotsorry
