Fast way to edit series number?

Hi everyone,
I read light novels and most of them are made of 10 or more books. I wanted know if there is any simple way to edit the series number of the books.
Or there is at least a shortcut to go to the next book while editing metadata?

If you are setting the series info for multiple books in the same series, then try the Manage Series plugin. With it, you can select all the books in a series and then set the name and series index for the books.

You can also do this in Edit Metadata (Multiple). Select the books in the order you want the series numbers, open edit metadata, enter the series name, check the Automatically Number box, Cbeck the Force Numbers box and set it to 1 (or whatever you want).

I suggest you back up your library before you do this just in case it doesn't do what you want. There is no undo.

Also on the main screen the Series number updates if you start at first and click on the series field in order. You only have to type first few unique letters. Click on next book and full name & number appears
