Content Server not working on ipads

I've tried Marvin, MapleRead SE, GoodReader, Calibre Companion (all on multiple networks and Ipad 6 and Ipad Air) - none work any more. CC will work as Wireless Device. The only change I've made to Calibre is to add a new column and update to 5.40. Any ideas?

Check your firewall.

I haven't changed anything. Could Windows 10 last security update messed with it?

I just checked and windows defender firewall is allowing Calibre Main Program through. Is there something else I should check?

Try turning off the firewall and see how you get on.

SOLVED: Thanks Chaley, while the firewall looked ok, you got me thinking. Turns out network discovery was turned off, evidently by the last windows security update! Sneaky Microsoft.
