BUGS: big problems with shelving

I am having enormous problems right now with changing the shelves of books:

* I throw books into a different shelf > when I go to the shelf, they are not there
* I rename a shelf or even delete it, and a duplicate shelf with the same old name appears

and other problems I havent tracked as carefully.

It's causing total havoc.

I've spent half an hour trying to re-shelve books in a process that would normally take 5 mins.

Note:
* This is my own column called #myshelves
* The shelves have names like:
"- • Read first"
simply because I want them to appear at the top of the list

Yes, it's the latest version.
It's driving me nuts - I am going to revert to the version of a few months ago.
