As BR noted: it's not an error. The official Sigil 1.9.2 will not run on Windows 7 with its bundled/embedded python 3.9.9. So I changed the installer to refuse to install on anything older than Windows 8.
I will try to keep the Legacy version of the Sigil installer (using Python 3.8) in line with the official Sigil feature-set for as long as I can, but there are no promises. There will be no 64-bit version of the legacy installer. I'm not maintaining 4 different installers for Windows for each Sigil release. |
