Hyperlink editor: anchors are not listed alphabetically
Linux Mint 20.1 / Calibre 5.35
Open the attached screenshot of the "Insert Hyperlink" window. Expected result: Anchors are listed strictly alphanumerically, i.e. A to Z, and 0-9. Actual result: Alphabetical characters are sequenced OK (i.e. alphabetically), but numbers are NOT being sequenced numerically (0-9), but by some other criterion which is not clear. This is a bug and means that the user has to spend longer looking for anchors with numbers in them. Last edited by paperback; 03-12-2022 at 07:07 AM. |

You declaring things as bugs doesnt make them so. The anchors are listed in document order, by design.

I was wrong the list is sorted by the text corresponding to the anchors. Your book has anchors on images so it has no text to sort by. I've changed the code to fallback to using the actual anchors ast the text in such cases.
