Forma- Battery wont hold a charge

Hi Folks,

In the last few days my Forma battery has been draining down near dead daily.
My wifi is turned off. I’m on version 4.3.18838and I’m only using 5.5gb of the available 8gb.

Any suggestions to fix this.

Same here. I’d have bought a Sage already but for the crappy battery. Going from my Aura HD to the Forma was a dream with the larger screen. I don’t think I could drop back down to a Libra 2.

I’m assuming that once the battery goes on these it’s over, no real fix.

Is buying a Forma now a silly idea - are they all old stock with aging batteries (even if technically new-in-box)? Any idea if a new Forma or Sage 2 with better battery is on the horizon?

No excessive battery drain in my Forma, just normal behaviour. Because of other minimal problems I fully resetted my Forma last week and then updated with the newest version. After that I patched the firmware and installed MiniClock. Now I'm reading 2 days and it's all ok.

I've experienced excessive battery drain in the past few days as well on my Aura One. I'm on firmware 4.31.19086

I ordered a Sage today. Maybe I'll regret it but going to see how it performs for me. If history is any indication this should signal Kobo to announce the Forma 2 or some other new technological marvel.

Mine is getting worse. I’ll Ck it before supper with a full battery only to find it 99% depleted at bedtime.
I will have to reset mine and update as you noted.
Thanks.
