Bigme X6 13.3" "smart office" tablet
Bigme just released a new 13.3 e-ink tablet.
Android 11, Carta HD screen with a 2200x1650 resolution, 2.3GHz, 6GB RAM with 128 GB of storage. In addition to note taking with a stylus, this tablet has a "dual microphone voice array" and text to speech capability. Bigme claims it'll do real time transcription of 27 different dialects and over 20 different languages with an accuracy rate of 98%. They also claim it'll translate books. It's one of the most expensive 13.3" tablets I've ever seen. It sells in China for 5999 Yuan/$949 USD. Currently, Find e-Reader has it available for "only" $849.99 https://min.news/en/digital/7c459dbf...aa27c211c.html https://goodereader.com/blog/electro...e-with-english |

I think the Sony 13.3" was way more expensive and really was only a PDF destination that could take annotations. Also only worked as a PDF print destination or via the sony app.
I expect it's not that much better than top speech recognition in 1999. How much of this works on the ereader and how much needs someone else's server via the internet? |
