Marked books
When downloading metadata from multiple books at once, if some are not found, there is an option to have them marked. Then the metadata field "marked" is set to true. The Calibre entry is then marked with a yellow marker. But I don't know how to reset this field manually.

Right click on a Marked title: Marked: Clear Marked (or Toggle selected)
 Folk: Calibre has a wonderful set of Context (right-click) menus.Explore and use them. Will save a lot of effort |

Just select the book and press ctrl+m that will toggle the mark on all selected books.
