Lenovo Tab M8 FHD as ebook reader?
Hi there!
Has anyone used the FHD M8 as a daily book reader? How is the battery life, and are there apps that make the lighting brown at night? Is the text sharp and crisp, or very "glassy" and straining? Thanks for any tip on this ![]() |

I've used two versions of Lenovo Tab
I've found Lithium best for real ebooks (it does do sepia background) and Xodo for PDFs. ANY LCD or OMLED tablet is much inferior to eink, such as Kobo Libra series. All seem to be shiny. We have also other tablets and others I know have iPads, equally rubbish to read ebooks. Even a 10+ year old 800 x 600 eink is less tiring to read novels. |

i do have a Lenovo m8, model is TB-8505X , which i took for pressreader (newspapers)
There is an automatic setting to change color temperature based on daytime. Battery is good. But quite frankly i won't read long on that, cause the dpi are WAAY few and it's eye straining My previous asus z580ca was so much better but i broke the glass, and there's no much choice of new 8 inches tablet |

There's a perfect solution for that: a matte screen protector. I can read as well on my tablet as on my ereader. I do have one requirement though, and that is that the resolution on the tablet is as high as possible (so at least full HD on an 8" tablet) and I prefer AMOLED over LCD any day.

So this is exactly the one i have i guess it depends on the distance you keep it from your eyes but for me ~283 ppi density is too few for prolonged reading sessions, i was a bit disappointed at |
