Trying to troubleshoot small fonts when transferring with KoboTouchExtended
Do you have troubleshooting tips for KoboTouchExtended and font sizes remaining small for transferred kepubs?
I have Calibre 5.36.0 with KoboTouchExtended installed and Modify CSS enabled. I have a kobo_extra_LIBRA.css file as described in Adding Arbitrary Styles, and a Kobo Libra running firmware version 4.31.19086. My kobo_extra_LIBRA.css file looks like the following: Code:
body { orphans: 1; windows: 1; } div#book-inner { font-size: 1.5em; } Today when I try to transfer an epub, I end with a kepub on my device but the font sizes are small, as if the font-size isn't being set. I've tried the following:
The following things have hindered my ability to troubleshoot:
I'm hoping that someone else has some pointers of where to try next. I'm debating downloading an older firmware that I know worked and trying an previous version of Calibre to rule out something silly there. I'd like to avoid it if I can. This might be a stupid question, have you tried with more than one book or just the one? It might be that the book is formatted in such a way that the above CSS doesn't work with it?

I hope your actual CSS does not contain "windows: 1;"

Have you checked that the kepub is being updated with the CSS? Have you tried a book that worked before?

Did you install the new 4.31 firmware? If you did and you had the patch previously installed that matched the KePub font size to ePub, then you will find KePub font sizes small until you up them with the slider. The current patch to match ePub and KePub matches them the opposite way.

I don't know how to check the CSS on a kepub, to be honest. I don't seem to be able to open them in Calibre, and if I open them directly on the device, they appear to be a binary file in my text editor.
