Inked 3 Pro Firmware update Problem.
I just got a Pocketbook Inkpad 3 pro today. I am on software version U740-2.6.4.329.When I attempt to update the firmware over WIFI I get the following error:
A network problem does not allow your device to check if an update is available. Please, try again later.

So then I attempt to download the firmware manually. The only firmware available is for the Inkpad 3. Is this the firmware for the Pro model also? All the instructions say to put the firmware in the Root file of a the SD card. Of course the Pro doesn't have an SD card. So, I put the update in the main file system of the Inkpad 3 pro. When I attempt to boot back up holding the fwd/bkwd buttons I get the a message telling me the firmware update is not for this device.

Any ideas on how I can get the firmware updated. Kind of frustrating dealing with this problem right out of the box.

No, two different models. Here's the InkPad 3 Pro support (download) page...

https://pocketbook.ch/en-ch/support

You'll have to go to the dropdown for Inkpad 3 Pro from the above link (it defaults to InkPad X). For some reason I can't successfully bookmark the 3 Pro support page. But the 6.5.xx download is on the InkPad 3 Pro support page. (The version I find for download is sw_20211222_U740-2_6.5.1381_user.zip. So (I think) that means it was released on December 22nd, 2021.

I don't know why your WiFi upgrade isn't working. (Maybe I do, I get a message from Pocket-Int that their server is currently down. But Pocket.ch seems to be working, so you should be able to download from there.)

Perfect, that worked. Kinda weird I had such trouble accessing support page for the Pro. Thanks for your help.

WiFi should have worked, but it looks like they're changing over servers or something. I've been using pocketbook-int.com because it seemed easier, but a lot of that is down now. (This was their old site.) The new pocket.ch site is slow, at least it is when accessing from the U.S. — that's why I avoided it any chance I got. (Pocketbook-int.com is coming back up, so maybe they just had an outage of some kind.)
