Error when "Review downloaded metadata"

This is on Apple ARM if not clear from the error. It looks like bitwise OR is not supported for enums in Qt? It looks similar to this: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=343490

As you are using the beta version of Calibre 6 (v5.99.2), this error is already known and a fix is in the pipeline to fix it in a later beta. https://github.com/kovidgoyal/calibr...34bc5982f91dca

Yea I'm using the beta. That's good to know! Do you know if there are any nightly builds or more recent builds of the beta I could use?

The latest beta is put up here https://download.calibre-ebook.com/betas/ so you're on the latest.

You can try running from source if you wish which would include the meta data fix. The instructions on running from source are at https://manual.calibre-ebook.com/develop.html

Discussion of the beta is taking place in Plugin devs: Upcoming migration to Qt 6. Errors like this can be reported there. And Kovid will announce any new betas there as well.
