This is on Apple ARM if not clear from the error. It looks like bitwise OR is not supported for enums in Qt? It looks similar to this: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=343490 |

Hi @rollsrice.
As you are using the beta version of Calibre 6 (v5.99.2), this error is already known and a fix is in the pipeline to fix it in a later beta. https://github.com/kovidgoyal/calibr...34bc5982f91dca |

Yea I'm using the beta. That's good to know! Do you know if there are any nightly builds or more recent builds of the beta I could use?

The latest beta is put up here https://download.calibre-ebook.com/betas/ so you're on the latest.
You can try running from source if you wish which would include the meta data fix. The instructions on running from source are at https://manual.calibre-ebook.com/develop.html |

Discussion of the beta is taking place in Plugin devs: Upcoming migration to Qt 6. Errors like this can be reported there. And Kovid will announce any new betas there as well.
