PocketBook Color mixed up .cbz pages
![]() Can anyone please explain to me why the default Pocketbook cbz reader app mixes up the pages on all of my cbz files? At first I thought it was just not assuming zeroes before numbers, for example if I name my pages 1, 2, 3, 4, etc... they would get jumbled and become 1, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 2, 20, 21, etc... This is all super frustrating, but manageable, I would just need to do the tedius thing and put zeroes in front of all the numbers and it should come out correctly. But now this book just completely got mixed up on me going like this 25, 26, 27, 28, 13, 14, 01, 02, 03, 04 just complete nonsense as far as I can tell. I have no idea why this is happening but I am officially at my wits end with this device. Can anyone explain to me what is happening here and what I might do to read my comic books in the correct page order? |

samefor me with my manga. it's like that every time:
"they would get jumbled and become 1, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 2, 20, 21, et ---< this sequence." It's already boring but i can imaging the frustration you have for your sequence. Why the pocket book can't do like windows (normal way) 1,2,3,4,5,...9,10,11,12,...19,20,21,22,... |

I can't replicate the issue on my PB 633 Color. I created a casual CBZ 25 images with files named from 01 to 25 and they are displayed in the right order.
A thing I can think is: how were ordered Your files before zipping them? If You read the *.zip file with Your PC do You see the the files inside it beginning from 01 and finishing to the last or not? And may be important: how did You create Your zip file? Which OS do You have and what is the program (7zip for example or the embedded zip creator of Windows 10) that You used? |

It's not inside the CBZarchive the prob, it is when I copy all the CBZ episodes of a manga inside the pocket book exemple 1.CBZ, 2.CBZ,... The pocket book do not list in the good order. it read as like i put on my message before 1.CBZ ; 10.CBZ, 11.CBZ,... 2.CBZ, 21.CBZ,22.CBZ,...

Perhaps you can try the pbimageviewer application. Not only does it numerically sort the image files inside of an archive, it also sorts archive names numerically when you use it to browse the filesystem (i.e. when you start it from the Applications tab). You can also enable opening the next archive automatically at the end of the current one, so that you don't need to search for it yourself.

I have the same problem.
I cracked the .cbr file open. The pages were inside folders (sorted by each chapter). So reading a .cbr in the InkPad Color I got pages 01 from chapter 1, then page 01 from chapter 2 and so on. To fix I need to either rename the pages to include chapters in front of the filename or PocketBook fixes their bugs and uses folder names in page ordering. |
