TOC issue?

I've run into a conversion issue that I've never seen before. Here's a quick diagram as shown on my Kobo Forma:

Cover - 1 of xx

(Chapter Text)

(Title) - % read

If I pull up the TOC at the bottom of the page, it shows the complete TOC but the current chapter is not highlighted. Clicking on the current chapter takes me to the correct spot, but the % read reverts to 0%.

At the end of that chapter, it rolls over to the next one, but the top line once again shows:

Cover - 1 of xx

(Chapter Text)

(Title) - % read

What in the world is going on?

Simple
Your (Kobo/)Forma is set to put those there . Goto its settings and find the place to change it. (I don't think you gain the 2 lines back, even if blank)

I'm not trying to turn those settings off, I'm wondering why they're not displaying correctly as:

(Chapter) - 1 of xx

Chapter text

(Title) - actual % read

What format arrived at your device? For some reason, not all EPUB convert to KEPUB (I have yet to discover why. Calibre Editor Debug says No Problems and they look good there)
NOTE DRM prevents a lot of things, while still viewable on the device

Problem solved. It was a bad download.
