![]() ![]() Alright, I've been googling non-stop (2 years) to find an answer to fix this ERROR(RSC-005): ./books/Bo/databases/eBookIt/temp_uploads/1636565401.epub/index_split_000.xhtml(2,60): Error while parsing file: attribute "class" not allowed here; expected attribute "dir", "lang", "version" or "xml:lang" If someone could please put this into terms, I would understand. I would GREATLY appreciate it. |

Open that book in Edit Book
Open the file index_split_000.xhtml From the top of the page to the first <body ...> copy and paste those lines here. Usually about 10 lines There might be an error in the <html tag |

That is a bogus error. The <html> element accept all global attributes, and "style" is one of them. Try updating your validator.

Can't you use ebook-edit without adding the book to the library?

You can invoke Calibre editor or viewer by right click on the file rather than import to the Library. But why not use the Calibre Library too?
