Running Recipes as a headless server?
Hi,
is it possible to run Calibre as a headless (Linux?) server that regularly sends me the news. Maybe even as a daemon or, to dream about, as a Docker container? At the moment I do have to open it every time. Last edited by joblack; 10-16-2021 at 09:53 AM. |

Yup. I've got calibre running on a raspberry pi b4 USB boot, all headless and easily backed-up or moved about.
I can track down all the pieces I used to set it up if you've not worked it out yet. |

Yes, it’s simple. You just use the inbuilt tools - ebook-convert for example. You might need to read up on the xvfb command as well
