Transfer books to SD card
The internal storage on my much loved Glo is almost full so I am going to insert an SD card in the slot and transfer my books onto the card.

I use calibre.

Is there any trick to this? I want keep my reading progress for the books. Any advice appreciated.

No real tricks. When you are sending the books to the device, you will need to use "Send to storage card A". You can set this as the default option so that you don't need to go through the menus. Everything else should work the same.

Perhaps not so simple...

I want to keep the reading progress of the transferred books. I can't see how to move books from the internal storage to Card A without losing the reading progress. Any help appreciated.

If you are using my Kobo Utilities plugin, you can get the reading status from the device and store it in calibre. Once you have resent the books to the card, then you can restore the reading status to the device. The statistics, such as time reading, and annotations will be lost.
