View Kindle Highlighted/Notes on Calibre

Is it possible to find and view highlighted sections or notes from my kindle when it is connected to Calibre?
It would be great if it were possible as it is rather cumbersome to do that on the kindle itself (size of the screen, keyboard and performance).
It also open more ease of use when looking on several eBooks.
Thanks

Not directly. You can use the Annotations plugin to fetch annotations from the My Clippings.txt file into a column in calibre. But, it can't merge the the annotations with the books.

There are other methods out there, but, I haven't tried them as I don't have a Kindle.

I bought a Kobo and stopped using the Kindle to proof read & annotate books. Amazon's Kindle is more locked down.
The Kobo models work best with Calibre for series, collections, import highlights/annotations/bookmarks. Davidfor's great Kobo Utilities.

However I only copy/paste the per book annotations to text files opened beside the wordprocessor file that was used to create the ebook.

Get a Kobo Libra if collections, series and annotations managed on the PC (Mac, Windows or Linux) by Calibre is important.

My Wife and I still buy Amazon ebooks for our Kindles but read them on the Kobo Libra.
