User guide not on device
Strange: I noticed that within the Kobo Clara using the More > Help selection an option is offered to open a user guide (PDF), located in directory .kobo/guide.

Kobo Libra does has that directory but it is empty. Also the More > Help within the Kobo Libra does not offer to open a user guide.
However, there exists a Kobo Libra user guide (I found it on the Kobo website).

Just curious, do other Kobo e-readers have user guides on the device as well?

This is what I see when I click on More>Help on my Libra. The "Getting Started" link opens a 9 page guide

Yes, that same setting I have on my Libra too. But on my Clara I see (under "Other Resources") the following (see attachment), which opens an about 77 page PDF.

I copied the found Kobo Libra manual as userguide.pdf, into the .kobo/guide directory and now it shows up in the Libra too. So I assume it is an omission in the Libra FW distribution.

All Kobo user manuals can be obtained here

A while ago I asked Kobo about the Libra not having a user guide. They said it hadn't been created in the right format yet. It appears it has been now. But, not included in the firmware updates.

Thanks for posting about this, I always missed having a proper guide. Even though I know how to use my E-reader inside out, there is still something soothing about reading the guide.

Thanks also to RobertJSawyer for the guide on how to update the toggle from invert screen to dark mode.

And also thanks to thread explaining how to update the NM file with the tgz and on how to update KFMON after a firmware update.

I’ve done them all, and my Libra has everything the way I want it again following the firmware update.
