Dictionary lookup word-wrap
The dictionary lookup window used to word wrap. I seem to have changed some setting and now it no longer word-wraps. How do I fix that?
Also, is there a keyboard combination that closes the dictionary window? Just to clarify the obvious, I mean the window that opens on the right side of the viewer when you click the dictionary lookup button. Windows 10 if that matters. |

The lookup window simply opens a webpage. there are no settings for it. Which webpage are you using?

I highlighted a word in the book in the viewer, clicked the library symbol and:

Yes you are looking it up via a google search, look at the top of your screen shot where it says "Google dictionary" sadly the google result site simply isnt made to work with such narrow windows, you can instead use wordnik (click the dropdown above the results where it says google dictionary). That will work better with the narrow window.

Wordnik looks much nicer. Thank you so much. And thank you for the wonderful calibre.
EDIT: Is there a key combination that closes the dictionary window? Last edited by foosion; 08-08-2021 at 01:22 PM. |
