Opening desktop app directly to current book page

Is there a way to set up the PC version viewer/app to open automatically to the current book i am reading?

How does it know what you are reading??? It don't.
Once opened, it usually jumps to the last location.

BTW if you open the viewer FIRST, there is a history that might help

Use --continue command line flag. Add it to the shortcut you use to launch the viewer.
