Issue with series
Hy,
I have an issue with series inside koreader (Kobo e-reader): I had archived several book inside a series called in a specific name. When I search by calibre, series I don't see all my book under this series. However I can found the book that I can't see under the series by traditional browser. Any ideas? |

go to calibre plugin settings and rescan libraries. That will trash the cache and a new one will be build from calibre metadata.
If you change metadata a lot you might consider disabling cache so on every search it will look on calibre json files directly. Also keep in mind we just parse json files. If the file doesn't contain the metadata there's nohing to do, no matter how many times you rescan |

I was talking about settings for calibre in KOReader. In particular I was talking about the "tools" -> "calibre" -> "search" -> "manage libraries" setting, which allows you to do a rescan. The entire calibre plugin was built with the idea of being easy for new users (as easy as it can be in KO context ![]() You solved the issue by pushing the new metadata to your device. Cache was rebuilt as its timestamp was older than the timestamp in calibre files. |

Before I didn't find the setting in Calibre inside koreader. Then looking more carefully I found it. Next time it happens to me I will try this way. |

changing question:
is it possible to make the full title, when it is very long, all show inside the mask that opens when we query a series? Maybe showing it on two lines instead of just one? |

If you long press the desired item you'll see a preview with a cover and all metadata. That probably has space enough to display the full title. |
