i tried metaboard plugin (couldnt get that to apply)
i tried kindle collections plugin

but what is the best way to send to device for
Author - Series - Title - Series #
to a paperwhite

couldnt get it to work on a fire tablet either

nothing i try seems to work
nothing i read seems to work

appreciate the assistance.

You can't send Series or Collections to any Kindle that is new enough to support KF8/AZW3, such as any Paperwhite.

You define them on the device or on your Amazon account. Series only works for some and if you have different models of Kindle the Collections can be confused by Amazon Sync.

Collections works with Sony & Kobo. Series works on Kobo.

If you're not loading too many books at once, put them into Collections on the device shortly after loading them. This is what I do, when they still have the 'New' label. Saves lots of time and bother, and can be fun.
