Pocketbook Inkpad X:


Does anyone own this device who would like to comment on the negative and positive aspects of PDF and epub reading?

(I am TOTALLY not interested in taking notes.)

One specific question: Can the text on PDFs and epubs be darkened - especially PDFs - like on the Boox Note2 ?

Based upon the 'general' non-response to this thread, in addition to a spam posting, and reports of the agonizingly slow firmware (to include actual use and the failure to update said firmware after approx. 9 months since the unit's been out), I will reluctantly pass on purchasing this model.

A consideration, yes. I'll wait and see how things turn out on this one.

I think, however, I would much rather have a Forma 2 - but only after they've solved the 'wedge light' issue.
