Amazon Verification for every book I send

Hello people,
each time I send a book via Calibre using @gmx.com mail, Amazon asks me to verify the file.

I tried to change my kindle mail from myname@kindle.com to RandomLettersAndNumbers@kindle.com and still it asks for confirmation.

I tried to create another account on gmx.com, and results are still the same.

Obviously, all the mail addresses I use are on Amazon's WhiteList.

How can I solve this?

I have a Kindle Paperwhite [10th generation] with FW 5.13.4 and I use Calibre 5.9

Weirdly enough, this happens to me too since a few days ago. It used to be, that you only need to add your email address to the trusted senders in your amazon profile, but this doesn't seem to whitelist them anymore.

I'm trying with gmx, gmail and yahoo accounts.
Amazon seems not to care about the trusted mail addresses.

And some of my address are just combinations of mixed letter (both upper and lowercase) and numbers. It's driving me nuts.

I use Calibre to send docs and books to multiple mail addressess...Imagine me clicking every link for every book I send.

Thank you for this, it helped me finally work out how to get around the new verification mails. It seems the issue is what Amazon considers to be an authenticated email address.

Whitelisting it in the "Approved Personal Document E-mail List" was not enough for me. I tried signing up for a new Amazon account using my gmx email, but I still got sent requests to verify documents.

The only thing that worked for me was setting Calibre up to send from the email I used to sign up for Amazon long ago. Seems at least that email was considered authenticated.

My amazon account has my personal mail, which is a Yahoo mail.
And this didn't work at all. I still receive confirmation links...well, I think there's nothing more to do

I don't have answers but here is my thread on the same problem.

https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=332177

Now I have ONE answer--yeah, it's not just me. When I use Send to Kindle on my browser, it uses my gmail account and that does not generate a verification from Amazon. I don't want to use my gmail account for Calibre for security reasons as it's my primary email address. I created a GMX specifically for Calibre. I tried to create a hotmail account but it redirects to Outlook. I created an account anyway for Calibre but the Calibre test was unsuccessful. I thought about creating a gmail account solely for Calibre but I understand gmail doesn't play nicely with Calibre?

At this point, I'm resigned to verifying.

Gmail works fine with Calibre. In your Gmail account, turn on 2-Step Verification and then generate an App Password for use with Calibre. Here's Google's Help: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185833

In Calibre, the "Send email from" needs to be the Gmail username that's whitelisted in your Amazon account, Hostname is smtp.gmail.com, Port is 587, username is the Gmail username again, Password is the app password you generated specifically for Calibre, and TLS is selected.

I just sent a book this morning and Amazon did not ask me for verification.

Wow, thank you for the gmail confirmation. Since I will input an app password in Calibre and not my regular password, would it be secure to use my regular gmail account? This account is whitelisted in Amazon and I know it works. Or should I play it safe and create a new gmail account?

I use my regular Gmail account, but you'll have to figure out your own level of comfort.

You can't see the app passwords from your Google account once they're generated, so you create one and then immediately paste it into the app you're setting up. That means the only place the app password is located is in my Calibre setup on my personal laptop, which is pretty secure. I don't leave my laptop unattended or email books from a public wifi network, so I'm comfortable with using my regular Gmail account for this.

Thank you Cathy! I was able to set up gmail and calibre and no more verification emails. I did end up having to use another gmail account. I think it's down to the bug that is mentioned in the thread I posted earlier. My gmail and kindle name are the same and apparently it's a bug that forces verification emails. Oddly, this is the gmail address I use for Send to Kindle and it works just fine. Who knows...the most important thing is that Calibre books emailed to Amazon are no longer generating verification emails. Fingers crossed that this will work for awhile.

GRAZIE GRAZIE GRAZIE.
It worked for me too, I just made a new_address@gmail to use with my Calibre, turned the 2step notification on and tried to send my documents to 3 different Kindle.
