How to keep highlights accurate after editing?

As you can see the yellow highlight in the viewer is offset after deletion of some text before it, even though the high lights panel still retains the correct highlight text "Anton didn't trust newfangled". Highlights before that deletion are fine, not affected.

You cant. highlights are identified by character offsets within a tag. You will need to re-adjust the highlight.
