Bulk edit only Month (or Year) published

Hi,

Is there a way to change only the month, and not the year (and the year and not the month) in bulk edit? Right now, when I edit one, the other also gets changed.

Maybe my problem can be solved another way. I have a large number of digital magazines (legally owned!) where I want to add the year and month of publication. THey are numbered, and the title has the publication date so.
- I thought I could select the 6 in each year, change only the year, for 30 years, and then (I thought that was working)
- Then search on the month value in the title, to get all those published in a particular month, and then bulk edit the Month. Then I noticed it was also changing the year too, to a single value

use the pubdate
(.+?) (.+?)

I replace the first capture with the number 1 and kept the Year with a \2
