Question Problems viewing cbz files
Hello,
I use this cool software for archiving my digital comics.
I have probs with cover previews of cbz files.
(pdf, cbr,rar, do all work fine)
When I click on the file it opens well (I use Drawnstrip reader) and get the preview.
But no preview in Calibre.
Anyone can help with advice?

Do you add the comics as .cbz files or solid image .zip files.

If you add .zip files try checking the Add Books->Adding Actions->Read metadata from file contents rather than file name setting.

Added: try it anyway

I do add the files as .cbz on mac platform
I will try your advice and will post in wknd.
Perhaps I will try to convert cbz to zip

are you saying the cover is not being read when you add a cbz file to calibre?

Yes, that is correct.
When I click on the file in Calibre (no previeuw cover) the cover/file opens perfectly in Drawnstrip Reader

Open a bug report and attach a sample cbz file demonstrating the problem.
