Wouldn't a page-turn remote be nice?
I feel like we are missing out. I don't care if it's wireless or connected by some cord attached to the ereader, but I would love a page-turn remote so that I can set the ereader where I want it and be able to change pages without lifting an arm to it or constantly keeping an arm by it for the purpose. What do the rest of you think?

Definitely. But I would prefer wireless, with AAA battery (s).

Such things are widely available for iOS and Android devices. E.g.:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B01C5RZWM6 Many reading apps support such devices. Last edited by HarryT; 04-09-2017 at 02:47 PM. |

I can't imagine using one myself, but I'm not philosophically opposed to it, it's just that pretty much all my reading is in such a manner that it would take as much effort to click a page turner as it does to touch the side of the screen.

1) I already have way too many (lost) Remotes
![]() 2) My reader is in my hand, I would have to put it down to grab the remote ![]() |

I think the intended use would be if you have your reader on a stand, rather than holding it. The Bluetooth page turners are primarily sold for people playing music.

![]() ![]() Is that not a normal reading position? Anyway, to allow for the thumb to press a button one must move the ereader farther out towards the fingers and angle the thumb around to the top and wherever the button is (or to swipe). The only other option is to use one's other hand. If there were a remote, one could keep the ereader in one hand and the remote in the other and not have to lift either to turn pages. But still, the remote would mainly for when the ereader is not in one's hands such as on a stand. |

I'd welcome a page-turn remote for when I'm on my stationary bicycle. Maybe I'd spend more time on it.

If the price of the Reader does not go up noticeably, then sure, I see no reason not to have such.

I use one (on Android) for reading on the treadmill. Works great.
