Calibre 3.48 - Overview of Compatible Devices?

Hello,

I have Mac OS 10.13 and for various reasons I don't want to update again - and I hope my mac will last long.

That is why calibre version 3.48 is the last possible.

After my PocketBook Touch HD 3 said goodbye just after the warranty had expired, I took my old Bookeen Muse again.
Unfortunately the on / off switch is stuck there in the meantime.

Since I had the experience that the pocketbook was no longer recognized by Calibre after updates, I would now like to buy a simple reader with buttons and lighting that is also recognized by Calibre.

But I can't find an overview of the compatible devices anywhere.

Does anyone have any idea?

Thank You Very Much

The main reason is Calibre (many of the building blocks had moved on) was being held back by older OS.

As to devices: anything around at the time of 3.48 is probably still good

Any new, 'bleeding edge' tech, is probably not. Look at the device driver version numbers (preferences: plugins: device interface)
Tablets will probably be problematic.
Remember, you do have Save to Folder for any device that exposes their book storage to USB.
In a pinch, a device with a WEB browser, can use the Content server to fetch books (assuming you have WiFi on the same LAN as your MAC)
