Where are the library names stored?

I've written a Windows cmd file to verify / backup / sync my Calibre libraries. At this point, the script processes all the libraries within a single folder structure. Calibre knows about other ones (work folders mostly) that are elsewhere. I'd like to A) use what Calibre knows, and B) remove the old, work folders I don't actually use Calibre for.

Where is Calibre getting / storing its list of Libraries?

Thanks!

When I create a new library via Calibre, the only file in the directory structure that is opened through Preferences->Miscellaneous->Open configuration folder that has the name of the new library in plain text is gui.json, which adds the new library location to "library_usage_stats". Am I missing something?
