				Custom lookup urls json with no GUI ubuntu server 20.04
			 
			
			Where is the file for the custom lookup urls? I want to use it in startup parameters with --search-the-net-urls= Can I modify the "Search for the selection on the net" icon? |

			All calibre settings are stored in the config folder which you can find from Preferences->Miscellaneous. And the URL to be searched with selections is modified in the viewer preferences under selection behavior.

			Sorry. I forgot to mention the server doesn't have an interface. I'm running calibre-server

			There is no file when using the server. It is configured via command line parameteres.

			That is a user preference and can be configured in the viewer preferences.

			I guess you have good reasons to store that information in cookies. But for me they doesn't last very long. That's why I would appreciate storing that information server side. Also it would synchronize if the user uses more than one device.

			its not stored in cookies and it is automatically synced across devices provided you setup user accounts.

			it's local storage and assuming you are using the same user account it will synchronize, it certainly does for me. If you are going to be perennially clearing all browser data, then obviously it wont stay.
