my story - Vivarium

Hello everyone,

I've published my short story - Vivarium - online. It's a sci-fi story about a group colonists fleeing from Earth on a spaceship with the intent of beginning a new life on a distant world. However, when some colonists wake up, they find that it is not a normal colonisation mission.

Thanks Mark. Sorry, but I don't buy short stories generally and certainly not from Authors I haven't read before. Also, have you considered some sort of promotion. You need some reviews. Not only for this book but for the other 2 you have published. And why no Amazon?

thanks for the feedback! Apparently Mark Thornton is a fairly popular name - I've only published one story so far... the others are not mine.

I'm looking at getting into Amazon - I have been reading up on it lately. As for promotions and the like, I am fairly new to publishing online. If you have any suggestions as to how/what promotional activities I could do I would be very happy to hear them.

Unfortunately, I haven't had many reviews (I'm guessing it's probably because I haven't really promoted my story much).

Hi Mark. Please have a look at the Writers Corner threads on this site. There is a great deal of useful material there for you to read. I'd recommend you introduce yourself and ask there. Basically, in your position its all about so-called discoverability.
