Random Yen character in spaces

Why is there a "Yen" character (Y + =) substitutin the forward slash character in many of the GUI places?

instead of /s ther is a Y= s (I can't create the Yen character where the Y and the = are blended together.

There arent any yen characters in the GUI. What language have you set for calibre?

My computer is in English as well.

I will check on the plugin "import name" because it is showing up with their columns.

When I copy/paste the data here from there, it shows up with the normal backslashes. However in the GUI it shows the "Yen" sign.

tl;dr: U+005C is supposed to be a backslash, but on Japanese locales it's re-defined to a yen sign. Double-check your keyboard language is what I'd do.

I have Calibre set to Yu Gothic Medium. I just did this recently. Lol....

CHanged it back to that segoue or whatever it is named.

Yu Gothic is a Japanese font, which would explain it.
