Import and delete orginal book
Hello
I hope, ist not already discussed, but I didn't found something propper. So, if I import a large number of books into a library (say, it's a new, empty one). In the orginal position of the books, there can also be files, not fitting for calibre. ( If I compare the orginal folder with the calibre lib folder, there are some e.g. PDFs, docx, opf .... not in the calibre folder) I have to binary compare the two folder and delete the (orginal) clonefile. The files remaining in the original folder are to be checked and maybe deletet or saved by hand. So, my question: can I config calibre to import books from folder+subfolder AND delete the (orginal) file during/afterward the import? Thank you! |

No! (for the from folder ADD method)
Calibre never touches the original locations contents. The Auto-Add folder (a place where you drop books), is self emptying. |
