Undelete and/or confirmation of deletion of books

I find that I delete books easily and by mistake - I'll do a search, want to change it, press the delete button, and if I'm not in the search field, I'll instead delete books.

As far as I can tell there's no "undo" command for deleting books - and in fact almost no indication that anything was deleted.

As far as I know there isn't an option to confirm deletes either - at least I can't find it.

Both of these features would be helpful.

There may be some way to deactivate the delete key too, but I'm not sure how to do that. That would be an imperfect solution, though.

You must have turned off the confirmation at sometime.
Preferences: Behavior: Reset all disabled confirmation dialogs (a button on the right).

I also highly suggest remapping the keyboard shortcut to a multi-key combo, if not disabling it entirely. But I have hand tremours.

Thanks, that did the trick! I would never have found that.

I did that on about day two of using calibre, changed it to Shift+Del, and I've kept all the confirms.
