MathJax and ePub book
I needed to change some math formulas originally done as jpgs and inserted as images into a book. I used to convert to svg using
https://www.codecogs.com/latex/eqneditor.php but from what I read the Calibre MathJax seemed a little cleaner I tried to follow the manual and used the test document there https://manual.calibre-ebook.com/typesetting_math.html The editor viewer shows the math symbols, but the ePub with ADE just shows the 'math code' Does the MathJax only work within the Calibre environment, and I have to keep on using the svg generator? |

Yes calibre's math support based on MathJax is calibre specific. ADE doesnt support it.
