its the lookup panel, which you have made floating at some point. simply close the window, or use the reset interface button in the viewer controls.

Thank you. I got it fixed using the Reset Interface thing which I didn't know existed (and it took me a while to find it). Also, the whole point of the post is that I couldn't close that window. There was no way to drag it or move it and no button to close it that I could see. That's why I had to ask. I couldn't see a way to close it unless there is some keyboard shortcut I am unaware of.

The close button on the extreme right should turn red, and be clickable. The panel should be movable, a right click will show a regular Windows options menu - Restore, Move, Size, Minimise, Maximise and Close. The standard Alt+Space sequences should work - M, S, N, X and C (and Alt+F4). Added: a double click on the title bar will restore the panel to its default position as a right edge sidebar. Did you see my image? Anyway, for whatever reason, the window opened up in a way that I could NOT see the top of it, and trying to grab the window (in various places that were visible) did not allow me to move it. I don't know how it got like that. It was like that when it opened. I wonder if it has something to do with my Windows 10 being set at 150% scaling? My native resolution of my monitor is 2560x1440 which is how my resolution is set but as I said I use 150% scaling so I can actually read stuff. Maybe it was a scaling issue, with the window appearing so high and partially out of view of my screen? I don't know. |
