Calibre x64 emulated in Windows 10 for ARM

Microsoft just released a x64 emulation to the preview channel of Windows 10 for ARM.

I started this thread to gather your experience in using Calibre for Windows 64-bit on ARM devices (e.g. Microsoft Surface Pro X).

Microsoft should know better. They had the Surface and Windows Phone both tanked big time. I see no reason why Windows for ARM will not also tank.

There is no point to ARM Windows. It's been a total failure in the past because the whole point of windows is to run existing x86 natively. Otherwise better to use MacOS or Linux if you don't need x86 Windows.

Calibre can be compiled for ARM Linux. No doubt soon ARM MacOS.
