Libra Physical buttons changin characters size

Hi all,

Just bought the Libra H2O and, was suprised about it's behavior on 1 point:

When I go in the characters size menu, change the characters size and go back to reading, the physical buttons don't change the pages anymore but, the characters size.

If I don't want that behavior, I need to take another action before going back to my reading; either switch the alignement or simply going in the settings and get out after making no changes.

Chatting with someone on Kobo help, I was told this is normal behavior but, the agent couldn't tell me what was the logic behind that.

Does anyone happen to know the logic of this and if there is a way to avoid that?

I understand having to make 2 extra clicks is not the end of the world but I still fail to see the logi of the thing.

I am not seeing that behaviour.

When I open the font settings, the page buttons still turn the page. To use them to adjust the font or other settings, I have to tap the control. Once I do that, the size/margins/line spacing changes when I press the buttons. After this, when I tap the text, the reading settings are closed and the page turn buttons work as expected to turn the page.

I tried the above with both epubs and kepubs.

This is with firmware 4.25.15875 which is the latest release.

Really weird,

I tried again and it doesn't do what I said anymore... I thought it was because of I had opened a new book but, going back to the previous, it works as you describe (I have the same firmware).

I am at a loss. And Kobo's agent chat reply might have been a case of not understanding exactly what I meant, since he implied what I was experiencing was normal...

Anyway, will test again but, thanks for taking the time to confirm the behavior on your unit.
