Is it possible to create folders in calibre?

Hi all! I wanted to ask how to create folders in calibre to organize my books.
I dont want a virtual library, i was looking to create folders or toggle lists so its easier to organize my library the way i want.

Hello and welcome to MobileRead!

You can do nothing with the files and folders directly. That will mess up your library immediately. What you can do is organize your books by tags, saved searches, virtual libraries, the Reading List plugin, the View Manager plugin and probably other ways. Or several separate libraries, if that's what you want. Take a look at the User Manual and the plugins subforum.

The way the files and directories are organized is the way it is. There's no way to change this. So forget creating directories. Besides you don't see the directory structure as it's all behind the scenes.
