Disable Device Management
I do not want calibre to detect my devices. Right now the only workaround I found is to not have calibre run when I connect my Kindle.
In Preferences->Plugins->Device Interface, everything is disabled (took 5 minutes to disable them all one by one), including MTP, but surprisingly as soon as I connect the kindle, calibre starts managing it. I have followed the steps described here: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=271570 Could I be overlooking something? Thanks. I'm using the latest versions of MacOS and Calibre. |

calibre cant possibly be managing your device if you have disabled the device plugins. And you dont need to disable them all just th eones with kindle in their names.
