Device screen not showing (most) covers

Hi,

Anyone have an idea why the device screen in Calibre does not show most of the book covers?

It does sometimes show the cover of any particular book, but then another time will not. As I write this, any that have been on my Kindle for over a month do not show anything but the default cover.

It's not a major problem, but it is annoying the hell out me

I assume that you are referring to the cover shown in the book details panel for the currently selected book. I believe that it won't show a cover there unless the book on your device has been matched to a book in your library.

The details shown are minimal for an unmatched book and contain the info from your library (not from the device) for a matched book.
