5.0.1 - Plugin error message

Hello,

When I went to Preference --> Advanced -- Plugins --> Get new plugins this error message appeared:

Is this something I can fix or something wrong with the program?

That indicates one of the plugins you have installed is exporting a string as its version rather than a list of numbers. I will add a workaround for it in the next release.

looking at the list of plugins its probably prettify cover, uninstall that and you should be fine.

Are there instructions on how to uninstall a plugin if you can't reach the plugin using the Calibre GUI?

I don't think I used the prettify cover plugin in a while so I don't mind removing it.

prettify cover version >= 1.5.0 is working with calibre 5 / python 3.
Version 0.9.12 was used.
