Is Boyue about to close?

Last year Boyue had a giant building in China, where RND, development, manufacturing, sales and shipping was all done from a single building. At the beginning of 2020, they relocated to a few different buildings, manufacturing was moved near Wuhan, which was the epicenter of the pandemic. In the middle of all of their downsizing they also let go a number of employees.

I know they're not reliable people, but...

Thanks, I had noticed that, but it's only a minor improvement, isn't it? It doesn't reveal the company's state.

They promiced 8.1 update would be available last November, so things do look not too good for them.

It's hard and drawn-out work and shows that they keep their promises.

Is there something bad known about them? I remember Michael Koslowski used to promote Boyue, once he claimed LB Mars war one of the most successful e-ink devices ever.

I hope of not because, if Onyx boox is alone between the producers of android e ink tablets, he can do that he wants.

It's not worth the higher price with weaker equipment than the Boox Nova 2 or Likebook Ares.
