The Mystery of the Self Increasing Font Size

I'm using KOReader (currently 2020.08) for a long time on a KA1. It was KSM before and now with NickelMenu.

The problem occured both with KSM and now with NM, and with a long list of KOR versions.

And the problem -
When waking the KA1 after a long sleep (let's say a night) a lot of time I find the the font size of the book INCREASED. Never seen it decrease. Don't recall this happening with short sleeps.

Even more then being annoying (I like small fonts) this EATS the battery - I'm reading "the complete works of ...." (Delphi Classics) and other giant collections, and any such font resize eats battery.

Any idea of why and how to solve this will be appreicated.

Given the KA1's track record as far as input accuracy is concerned, my best guess would be something triggering the pinch gesture, which is bound to font size tweaks by default?

I'd try disabling those gestures in the Gesture manager.

Otherwise, unless someone's actively doing it, that... doesn't make much sense ^^.
