Syncing/Back Up

I backed up my library but have since added new books. How do I add the new books to my external hard drive folder.

Free file sync in MIRROR (-> ) mode will update it (there are other 'sync' tools. the important thing is NOT to use 2 way sync)

(remember to backup your configuration folder, also.)

Okay so I clicked comparison. Now what do you do once you see all the files that need to be added to your library. You mentioned backing up the configuration of my external hard drive folder. What does that mean?

You click Synchronize, not Compare after setting up the DIRECTION

The Calibre Configuration folder is on your PC (normal install). It contains User settings and non-per-library specific settings and PI's
