Set custom column value with hotkey?
I set up a YES/NO column to keep track of books I've read. Is it possible to define a hotkey that sets this value to YES for the selected book(s)?

Looks like it only works with textual columns, not YES/NO, but I think I can work around that. Thanks!

The tweak doubleclick_on_library_view might also be of interest, if you don't mind a few extra keystrokes:

It's working fine with Job Spy. I can now add a check mark to books in Calibre using the same hotkey that I set up to add a check mark to files in my file manager. I'm happy.
