Calibre V5 wireless device slowdown
I just found and fixed a problem in the wireless device driver in calibre 5 (python 3) that caused the driver to ignore its device metadata cache. This resulted in CC sending the book metadata to calibre on every connect.
The fix is in calibre source now and will be in the next calibre release, probably 5.3 |

I thought I had done something in Calibre to force a metadata refresh and had ignored the fact it had done a full refresh 4 times. for not saying something(I only had 1K books in CC, so it went pretty fast) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
